About the Youth
Westwood Baptist Student Ministry is committed to providing a place where students worship and encourage each other in their daily walk. Many times in life, it is much easier to sit on the sidelines and watch, rather than engaging in our families, schools, and workplaces. This is especially true when you consider all of the distractions that demand our time and attention. But here at Westwood, we believe that there is more to life than just getting through, and more to God than just going to church. We believe that by seeking God’s purpose for our lives as individuals through prayer, worship, and reading His word, and being around others who love doing the same that life can be much better than the latest boyfriend or girlfriend and much more exciting than the newest movie.
